Cedar Creek Cove, my haven of rest and peace, offers a new panorama of wildlife doings every day.

The leaves have fallen so we can see into the woods more clearly. The bucks are active and come around often. Though we haven't seen the gray fox lately, we hear her and her two juvenile kits in the night. Again, there's a dearth of squirrels in the back yard, so I know the foxes are making their rounds.

We've seen wolves nearby again. With the added exposure between trees, we're expecting to see them again.

We pray for safety and success for the local hunters.
